Community Leaders: Solo

"Solitude is painful when one is young, but delightful when one is more mature." Einstein

This afternoon, all students in the 3 crews that hiked back to Camp ABC
all had the solo(see last week's entry) portion of their Crew Orientation course in various scenic parts of this preserved land. Mr. LeWinter's crew was sited at a truly buena vista that we call Overlook. At this location, you have an expansive view of the Hudson Valley and of the Catskill Mountains; the source of our drinking water in New York City.

Mr. Ahmed's crew was situated in outcroppings surrounding The Great Hall. This is a huge pavilion with a stone fireplace close to our base camp. It is an ideal location for an outdoor gathering and will most likely be where we will have a Halloween Party the last week of October. You will see Melinda, Rey and Araib writing letters to themselves that they will open in 6 months.
