Validus Day 4

Well folks, we are on the homeward stretch and the students are now reveling in their experience. Most crews have arrived at Camp ABC(Anita Bliss Coler) and 3 of them are at the high challenge course. I was able to visit Ms. Ruck's and Ms. Ware's crews at their back country campsites this morning, so you will see some pictures of their camps. The stoves pictured are Trangia stoves from Sweden. They use denatured alcohol in burners and are perfect for the back country, as they are a compact set.

One of the photos shows a student on the wobly woozy with his instructor, Aramy Cho belaying. For those of you who don't know, the word belay is French for "hold fast," which is exactly what Aramy and his back up belayer are doing.
